The cold, dark months are quickly forgotten, because the days of light are coming again! Like tulips, daffodils are grown in the common way. Hoeing is not easy in this crop: because the daffodils are planted relatively deep underground, they do not rise in a straight line above the ground making accurate hoeing impossible. After flowering, the crop lies flat making hoeing itself completely impossible. Also, the lying crop then no longer dries and fungi strike. However, the beautiful flowers of this crop more than compensate for the hard work! Available as small yellow daffodils that you spread in the garden under trees and between shrubs.
