The socks provide natural warmth and also ensure that you won't get sweaty feet no matter what shoe you wear. These wool socks for men come up to the top of the calf and thus keep your ankles and entire lower legs comfortably warm.

Skéépe socks are made exclusively from the best wool from the island. The wool comes from the farms on Texel and is naturally from the Texel breed of sheep. Due to the island climate, this wool is nice and thick and frizzy and of a very high quality. To make the socks elastic, we use 15% viscose. The rest of the socks, a whopping 85%, is made from only the pure wool of the island. By using so much wool in the socks, you enjoy all the natural benefits that wool has to offer:

  • Warm due to the insulating properties of wool
  • Breathable and moisture-regulating so no sweaty feet
  • Antibacterial so protected against foot fungus

    Can I mend my wool socks?

    Certainly, wool is a beautiful material, but unfortunately it is not wear-resistant. That is why a hole may develop over time. This can easily be repaired by mending it. Do this with a wool thread and, if necessary, our mushroom-shaped sock darn patch. It's quick and sustainable!

    How often should I wash wool socks?
    Because wool is dirt-repellent, you don't need to wash them as often as regular socks. You'll notice when it's time for a wash, so you don't have to do it every day. Less work and better for the environment. In addition, the wool stays in better condition if you don't wash it too often.
    Are wool socks itchy?
    No, at first the socks may feel a little stiffer than you expect. This is because they are new. Once you wear the socks, you will notice the perfect combination of protection and softness that wool provides.
