Ecological sheepskin

The special thing about Texel sheep wool is that it has moisture-regulating and warming properties. This makes an ecologically tanned sheepskin keep your baby warm when it is cold, but also cool when it is hot. When it is too hot, the fleece absorbs. The Texel sheepskin then takes on the baby's body temperature. Moisture is absorbed by the fur and because of air between the hairs it acts as a natural air conditioner, so this lambswool footmuff can be used year-round in the stroller or baby carriage.

The footmuff is wind and waterproof

This Taupe lambswool footmuff for your stroller or baby carriage is wind and waterproof. With 9 belt slots, the footmuff is universal and therefore suitable for any stroller or baby carriage.  The footmuff can be closed and opened on both sides by means of a secure zipper. The outside of the lambswool footmuff can be easily wiped with a damp cloth. The lambswool inner lining is self-cleaning due to the natural fat lanolin. Because the pink lambswool footmuff is tanned in a special natural way ( without chemical chemicals ) it can be washed (in moderation) on a wool wash program at 30 °C.

    Is a sheepskin safe for my baby or child?

    Yes, the lambskins we select as baby products are safe to use. It is important that the wool is hygienic and short
    sheared, so that the wool does not wrap around the fingers or get into the mouth. Please make sure you purchase a product from our baby section.
    In addition, sheepskin is breathable and regulates moisture and temperature. However, always keep a close eye on your child while they are sleeping.

    What are the benefits of sleeping on a medicinal sheepskin for my child?
    A sheepskin regulates temperature, feels soft and comfortable, and contains lanolin, which cares for the skin. It is breathable, absorbs moisture without becoming damp and has natural antibacterial properties. German research has also shown that it reduces the risk of asthma later in life by supporting the immune system.
    Does a sheepskin fit in a cot or pram?
    Yes, our sheepskins for babies are smaller lambskins and therefore fit perfectly in a cot or pram. As it is a natural product, the size may vary slightly. If the skin is a little too big for your baby, you can consider making it a little smaller. This can be done easily with a sharp knife. This way, you have a custom-made product!
