When, you walking with the pram, your child will experience the warmth and security of the soft lambswool fur. The footmuff is made of authentic Texel lambswool and is clipped to approx. 30 mm so that no hair sticks to your child's hands and/or face.

 

Medicinal sheepskin

The special thing about Texel sheep's wool is that it has moisture-regulating and warming properties. This means that a medicinally tanned sheepskin keeps your baby warm when it is cold, but also that it provides cooling when it is warm. When it is too warm, the fur absorbs. The Texel lambskin then takes on the body temperature of the baby. The moisture is absorbed by the coat and through air between the hairs it acts as a natural air conditioning, so that this footmuff can be used in all seasons.

 

The footmuff is wind and waterproof

The blue footmuff for your pram is wind and waterproof. The footmuff is universal with 9 belt slots and therefore suitable for any pram. The footmuff can be closed and opened on both sides by means of a starting reflection period. The wool is self-cleaning due to the natural fat lanolin.

 

The blue footmuff has a special tanned result that can be washed (in moderation) on a wool wash program at 30°C.

    Is a sheepskin safe for my baby or child?

    Yes, the lambskins we select as baby products are safe to use. It is important that the wool is hygienic and short
    sheared, so that the wool does not wrap around the fingers or get into the mouth. Please make sure you purchase a product from our baby section.
    In addition, sheepskin is breathable and regulates moisture and temperature. However, always keep a close eye on your child while they are sleeping.

    What are the benefits of sleeping on a medicinal sheepskin for my child?
    A sheepskin regulates temperature, feels soft and comfortable, and contains lanolin, which cares for the skin. It is breathable, absorbs moisture without becoming damp and has natural antibacterial properties. German research has also shown that it reduces the risk of asthma later in life by supporting the immune system.
    Does a sheepskin fit in a cot or pram?
    Yes, our sheepskins for babies are smaller lambskins and therefore fit perfectly in a cot or pram. As it is a natural product, the size may vary slightly. If the skin is a little too big for your baby, you can consider making it a little smaller. This can be done easily with a sharp knife. This way, you have a custom-made product!
