For this rug, we not only make a selection of our best sheepskins but also combine sheepskins with different hair lengths. Our carefully selected sheepskins are then sewn together in our own workshop. This way we can make the sheepskin rugs really to your liking and you can choose a small or large rug.

No problem! Because we sew the sheepskins together into a rug, you decide how big your rug will be. In the webshop you can choose 2, 4, 6 or 8 sheepskins but we can make your sheepskin rug as big as you want.

How can I clean my sheepskin rug?

Prevention is better than cure, so to begin with, we recommend not walking with your shoes on the rug. This will keep the wool clean and soft much longer. Besides, you can't machine wash the rug, so how do you clean your sheepskins?
It is best to remove all coarse and loose dirt first. You do this by patting or vacuuming the rug. Then you can brush the bristles with our special wool comb. This will remove the remaining dirt and the wool bristles will become decrusted and nice and soft again. Are there stains in the wool? Then it is best to remove them with a damp cloth with a mild solution of wool detergent. Be careful not to get the leather side of the sheepskin rug wet, it will eventually become stiff and that would be a shame.

    FAQs

    Where is my sheepskin rug made?

    We put together the rugs using our own sheepskins and they are made in our own workshop. Our seamstress has her own special sewing machine so she can do the work on site.

    What happens after I order a rug?
    As soon as we receive your order, the seamstress will contact you, preferably via WhatsApp. This allows her to put the rug together and send you a photo of the composition of the skins for approval.
    Once you are completely satisfied with the composition of the rug, it will be sewn, packaged and shipped immediately.
    When will my rug be shipped?
    Are you completely satisfied with the composition of your rug as sent to you by our seamstress via photo? Then she will get to work right away! It usually takes 1-2 days to sew the rug. After sewing, the rug is immediately packaged and shipped, and you will receive a Track and Trace number from us by email.
