How do I maintain my light taupe sheepskin?
Of course, you want to enjoy your Texel sheepskin as long as possible. To ensure that the sheepskin retains its beautiful, soft appearance, you can comb the coat regularly with a cloud comb. Any dirty spots on the coat can be dabbed clean with a damp cloth. When doing so, avoid the leather side, if the leather side gets wet it dries hard. Therefore, we also recommend not washing the coat in the washing machine.
For natural cleaning of your sheepskin, use snow when there is snow. Snow absorbs dirt and dispels odors. Lay the sheepskin on the snow with the hair down, press it gently and let it soak for half an hour. Then hang the coat out and let it dry slowly.
