The wool used for these knitted socks comes exclusively from the Texel breed of sheep. In addition, the wool also comes from Texel farms. The sheep live outside in the meadow or, when it is a bit colder, among the hay in the stable. Due to the salty sea climate,  the sheep get an extra thick and frizzy coat, which in turn is wonderfully warm and soft for your feet!     Can I mend my wool socks?

    Certainly, wool is a beautiful material, but unfortunately it is not wear-resistant. That is why a hole may develop over time. This can easily be repaired by mending it. Do this with a wool thread and, if necessary, our mushroom-shaped sock darn patch. It's quick and sustainable!

    How often should I wash wool socks?
    Because wool is dirt-repellent, you don't need to wash them as often as regular socks. You'll notice when it's time for a wash, so you don't have to do it every day. Less work and better for the environment. In addition, the wool stays in better condition if you don't wash it too often.
    Are wool socks itchy?
